As the editor of CARS magazine, from New York-based Magnum-Royal Publications, Marty Schorr was one of the few East Coast journalists covering the musclecar scene of the 1960s.
During this burgeoning performance era, Marty had unique access to the Chrysler Corporation and its most exciting products, which is reflected in the articles and photography presented in MOPAR: The Performance Years.
Marty went on to create, build, and market various Baldwin-Motion vehicles, conceive High-Performance Pontiac and Vette magazines, and found PMPR, Inc., a public relations and book and magazine publishing company.
Today Marty lives in Sarasota, Florida.
